Planning Retail and Window Displays

Choose retail display hardware for readable signage, replaceable graphics and a consistent finish across stores.

Match the display to its purpose

Separate permanent brand signs from frequently changed product or promotional panels. Permanent signs may suit standoffs; suspended panels and adjustable hanging systems can make updates easier. Compare available space and viewing distance before choosing panel sizes.

Consider light and the storefront

Review visibility during the day and at night. Consider reflections from glazing and access for cleaning. For illuminated hardware, confirm the required electrical components and installation instructions rather than assuming compatibility with an existing power supply.

Make repeat installations consistent

Keep a schedule of model codes, dimensions, materials and approved finishes for each store type. Use sample approval where color and appearance are important. Provide drawings for any custom components and confirm substitutions before production.

Plan changes and replenishment

Record replacement panel sizes and keep compatible spare fittings. Ask about packaging, model identification, order quantities and delivery requirements for multi-location rollouts.
